Hi Everyone!
I am new to this forum. Actually, I have a few questions related to my health that I am willing to discuss here. I am 31 an old unmarried lady who had a sinus problem 2 years ago. Actually, it was a terrible throat when I visited the doctor and noticed I also had tinnitus. ENT doctor gave me some medication and my throat was relieved. However, my tinnitus problem is still here. My voice is not that loud and only feel it when I get a bad throat issue or use some unhealthy food.
On the advice of my ENT doctor, I also got an X-ray of my nose and found that my nose bone is a little inappropriate and according to my doctor I should proceed with surgery but I don't think my nose bone is the actual reason here. Whenever I take better care of my health and get proper steam, I feel super fit with small tinnitus noise in one ear only. Withal, from last few days, due to congested noise, I found I have little pain in the rib cage of my back. Do you think it is serious?
Or some care like lung exercises and avoiding sinus problems will fix this matter. Actually, I am worried these symptoms can lead to any kind of lung or throat cancer.

Hi Shantel123 sorry to read about your concerns.
I have lived with bad tinnitus for years mainly due to the environments I used to work in and due to a cancer drug I had over 12 years ago….. I am now also partial deaf….. and yes if I get a cold etc the tinnitus is worse.
Thr only people who can help you with regards to your rid cage pain and the ‘what if’s’ of developing cancer in the future is your GP so make an appointment and talk this all through with them, the more your stress about this the more aches and pains you will develop as this is actually a Sid effect of stress ((hugs))
I basically got tinnitus when I moved to a new city and in the beginning, I was relating it with an ear infection but in actuality, it was related to sinus. However, it sounds bad that sinus infection can lead to problems like deaf.
My deafness has nothing to do with anything about sinus infections….. this was a known side effect of the cancer drug I was on.
Our sinus and ear areas are very much connected so when you get a cold your hearing also is affected.
Don’t over think all this and definitely don’t be doing random Google searches as you will get a 1000 answers and only a few will be correct - get along and see your GP and talk this through.
