Hello I had an operation on the 4th January 2023 to remove cancer from the colon. I am now on chemo tablets for 6 months. I have never been a person to sit still and mentally I am finding it very difficult to rest and come to terms, with this, I just can’t do much as I get so tired.
Hi Boosie and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
It sounds like you're going through a tough time at the moment but you've joined the right community to discuss how you're feeling.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also join and post in the bowel cancer group as that will give you the chance to connect directly with people who have been through the same diagnosis as you.
If you'd like to join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here, and join in with existing conversations by clicking on reply.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
