Hi.
I just have a question and wondered if anyone could help me.
my dad is living with us and apart from his personal care I do everything for him.
my brother came to see my dad today and wants to get carers in but I’m not keen on the idea.
these people would come into our home to help my dad wash and dress.
am I being uncaring? We already have so many people coming through the house I don’t really want anymore when I can help my dad upstairs to the shower while he is still able to wash himself.
I know maybe many people have had carers come in and do personal care but it just feels like my home is no longer my own if that happens .
please can anyone advise me
Hi Welshwife
This would be a great question to post in the carers only group as you'll then connect directly with others carers who may have been faced with a similar situation.
If you'd like to post there as well, clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there where you can then copy and paste your post from here into a new post there.
