Hi Featherfriend and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
It's natural to be scared about upcoming treatment as you don't know what to expect. I can remember how daunting chemotherapy seemed before I started it at the beginning of July but I had my last one at the beginning of December and it wasn't nearly as bad as I feared.
As the online community is divided up into different support groups I'm going to recommend that you join the cervical cancer group which will give you the chance to chat to other ladies who have already undergone chemotherapy and brachytherapy.
To join just click on the link I've created which will take you directly there. You can then join and start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

I have joined thanku still tryin to work out this forum x wats a pre assessment chemo workshop x
That's good that you've joined the cervical cancer group Featherfriend as I'm sure the ladies there will be happy to share their experiences with you.
I'm afraid I don't know what a pre-assessment chemo workshop is. You should have been assigned a CNS (cancer nurse specialist), also sometimes referred to as a keyworker, and they should be able to tell you what this if you give them a call tomorrow.

I help out in the cervical cancer group, and lots of the ladies have been through the treatment you are facing so will be able to offer support and advice for you,
Now that you have joined the cervical group you can put up a new post in there to ask any questions, just in the same way you have put your post in this group.
If you need any help, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
Sarah xx
