Looking for others who have several/many cancer types in one family? I can't be the only person.
Hi Blahblahblah and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm really sorry to read that you have several people in your family with cancer and, sadly, I'm sure you won't be the only one.
As you know, the online community is divided up into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the family and friends group where you'll find others who have family members with cancer.
To join just click on the link I've created which will take you directly there. You can then join and start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute, it would be great if you could pop something about your family members' diagnoses and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

Sadly my hubby has grade 4 with gleason score of 8 Prostate cancer which is all over his body. I have one elderly relative with dementia and one severly disabled member of the family. Wanted to run away to some where quiet by the see but now find out the cancer hosps are no near any seaside towns. I'm not sure about living to far from a good hospital!!! I don't drive. I liked the look og Pembrokshire .
Hi,I’m sorry to hear about your family and husband. It doesn’t seem fair at all.My mum had dementia in the end and no longer knew who I was.I nursed her for 15 years before I got cancer.I don’t drive either and will have to move shortly.Having a good accessible hospital is a priority.I love the sea,I grew up in Dorset on the coast.
