Hi Angel, I wanted to get back with you and let you know what I used for my personal radiation skin care. Used Avene products as my skin is fair, sensitive and reactive so need things that are gentle and fragrance free. Aquaphor and aloe Vera had been recommended by radiation team but it is way too heavy and greasy and couldn’t imagine my skin tolerating it so told radiation staff what I was using and gave them ingredient list. I also find aloe Vera drying . You can Google Avene to get background on them and know why I chose them. I used Tolerance Extreme Gentle cleansing lotion, Cicalfate+ restorative protective cream (oncology safe), Avene Thermal spring water spray that I used as often as I wanted. Kept in refrigerator so it was cooling and so refreshing. I spoke to a rep from Avene before I purchased anything even though I had downloaded their booklet and it was explained. My skin did great through radiation and very few issues. My nipples were sore and I did get an occasional mild rash in a few areas and used pro cure hydrocortisone cream with calendula if it was itchy and voila no more itching.
For breast massage I use Kiehl’s Creme de corps lotion and it has cocoa butter, squalene, and other moisturizers and fragrance free. Works well and my skin looks so good and feels very soft. That is pretty much it. I did use Avene Cicalfate scar cream twice a day too once I started breast massage. Good luck with radiation. It goes by fast.
