I'm scared to be going through this again as I lost my mum to lung cancer trying to stay positive it it's very hard. Sob

  • Hi

I'm sorry to read that your dad's doctors have stopped giving him hormone treatment as it's no longer working. Have they said what treatment he'll be having in future?

I can see that you've joined the prostate cancer and carers only groups and they'll be the best places to ask your questions. The people in the prostate cancer group will be able to help with questions and share experiences around treatment while those in the carers only group completely understand what it's like to have someone you love going through cancer.

If you'd like to post in these groups clicking on the links I've created will take you straight there where you can start a new post like you did here or join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply.

When you have a minute it would be great if you could pop something about your dad's diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
