I'm sorry to read that your dad is in extreme pain after his recent surgery. Has he got in touch with his hospital team as I'm sure they'd want to help if possible.
As you know, the online community is divided up into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the lung cancer group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support from others with this type of cancer.

It would be great if you could pop something about your dad's diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway.
