Hello,
Does anyone have any advice on what helps with sleeping difficulty and day time tiredness for my mum?
She has tried Zopiclone and is now trying Lorazepam with little success. She is having weekly chemo so could be the effects of that.
I feel so useless not knowing how to help with this.
She’s getting very upset not being able to do much during the day and I miss going for walks with her, lunch etc.
Perhaps something to lift her spirits?
I think that most of us have suffered with this and if she does not feel like going out perhaps you can do something at home a lot of places do cream teas that you can buy or you can have a look online and get one delivered hope something like this will cheer her up. Then she might feel like going out for a lunch one day. Hopes this helps. Kay
Hi
i have carried on working during the week and don’t feel like doing much at weekends. I have also put it partly down to the bad weather and my family are hoping now it it’s spring this will improve.
im on chemo for 5 days every 28 and day 5 I’m always really tired so I know how your mum feels. Bizarrely what helps with sleeping is something to cuddle at night, this is either my dog or a teddy bear. I don’t know why this helps (maybe it gets me really relax or something) but for some reason it helps and I’m less tired in the day.
If I’m tired in the day, water helps. Apparently the chemotherapy I’m on is dehydrating so that makes me tired too
