Appointment moved forward

Appointment was booked for end of January for my PET scan results.

As I walked round Aldi today, phone call from hospital saying my appointment has been brought forward to next week. Pretty sure I forgot some shopping after that! I am glad as I will know sooner but hasn’t filled me with much hope.

2021 hasn’t been a great year for my family. Hope 2022 isn’t starting the same.

This forum is such a great support network. So many of us in similar situations and it makes me feel I am not alone. I have faced this before and I can face it again.

So sorry to read this. I understand what you mean, I was in a similar situation and you just wish the pain and suffering to end. However you do not wish to lose your loved one. Sending my thoughts.

I have been told “highly likely” cancer with PET scan results, however until further tests (which I am getting this weekend), they don’t know if it is secondary to my breast cancer or adrenal cancer. Still a bit in the air. Getting op to remove adrenal gland in Feb whatever the outcome of tests.
