  1. I had a total hysterectomy in February and things are going fine apart from my bones aching. I had some blood tests a couple of weeks ago and the doctor has told me I could have lymphoma.  Has anyone had or got this       dee
  • Hi Dee  and I see it’s your first post so welcome to the Community although always sorry to see folks joining us.

I am Mike  and I help out around our Lymphoma groups.

This unfortunately this does happen from time to time and we have had a number in our Lymphoma Groups in the same circumstances. Having had cancer before can make you open to other cancers and Lymphoma can be one that comes along.

It is important to understand that Lymphoma is very treatable with great results, yes some treatments can be hard work but all do-able.

Do you know what of Lymphoma you have?........ there are over 60 types and subtypes!!!

We can’t have a group for every type but these are our main Lymphoma groups below:

    Hodgkin's Lymphoma

    General Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma

    Follicular Lymphoma

    Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

    Mantel Cell Lymphoma

    T-Cell Lymphoma

If you'd like to connect in with any of these groups, you need to join the group. First click on the Green link I have created above. Then once the page opens up click on the black banner that says [click to join] at the bottom, or the [Joinbutton under "Group tools."

You can then introduce yourself by putting up a new post by clicking in the box near the top right with + New (Computers) or + (Mobile Devices). You will then see a dropdown menu so why not hit Start a Discussion in New here, say hello’

You could copy and paste the text from this your first post. You can also search through existing ‘Discussions’ and click [reply] if you want to put up a comment.

Happy to talk more on this thread if you don’t know what type of Lymphoma you have as there are some differences across the types.

    ((hugs))
