This is me trying to prepare for my partner going into hospital on Wednesday.
He's got bowel and liver cancer.
First operation is for the bowel, he could be in upto 8 days depending what they are going to.do.
What has everyone taken with them into hospital as he can't have visitors and I want to make sure the best I can he's comfortable.
Any info would be great.

I can't offer any help, as my operations didn't require a hospital stay, but preparing as much as possible for your partner's stay in hospital is a great idea.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also ask this in the bowel cancer group as there will be lots of people there who have had bowel operations and they should be able to tell you what they found useful.
