Your post resonated with me - only this am did my eldest send me a link to a dating site to try out ‘when I feel up to it’. Well, I’m in the middle of a six month chemo cycle and am now diabetic due to having a cancer lump on my pancreas - both of which were removed in July of this year.
So, although I’d like to try dating, I’m thinking how on earth do you broach the subject of cancer and diabetes in a convo with a prospective partner.
