Help, please. Sorry for the long post.... I was hit with the news yesterday that my dad has cancer. Even though he has family history of it I never expected the news I received yesterday especially at his age of 68.
I feel lost, helpless and don't know what to expect on how long he would have left to live as we have got to wait for appointments to find out more.
He has cancer in
*thyroid
*lungs
*lymph nodes in chest
*liver
*bowel
*bone (hip)
Can someone please, please give me any sort of heads up on what to expect to hear with regards to life expectancy. I know nothing is certain as you can't see his scans, but I also know it's not good as it has obviously metastasized so quickly... Just 2 months ago we were on holiday and he didn't have any symptoms.
Thank you
