Has anyone been sent for genetic testing because of their family history please? I have so much cancer on both sides of my family and I’m really scared. Have no idea what will be tested, talked about, etc
Hi sorry you haven't had a response from anyone yet. By replying to you it will bump you back up to the top of the list where someone who has had genetic testing might see it this time and respond.
With 1 in 2 of us expected to get cancer in our lifetimes I don't think it makes a huge difference if you have cancer in the family or not so try not to worry too much.
The key with cancer seems to be catching it early so just be aware of any changes to any part of your body, take all the recommended tests and let your doctor know if you have any concerns.
