Hi
I had a biopsy about 10 days ago on a lump on my neck. Since the biopsy the lump seems bigger and hurts
is this normal ? Has anyone had the same oroblem
thanks michelle
Hi Michelle. I see you have also asked a question on the H&N forum. That is probably the best place to be. In the meantime it sounds like you should get some results quite soon from the hospital. Normal time is around 2 weeks depending on how things are sequenced in the hospital. I would guess that part of what you are seeing and feeling is the fact that you are more conscious of the lump. I speak from experience!
Post and questions on the H&N site - start a new thread if you wish - and the "experts" who have the T-shirts will help you. We are a friendly and caring bunch who believe no question is too silly to be asked :-)
In the meantime keep of Google. All it will do is to frighten you and not show you what clinically is really possible in todays hospitals regarding treatment for H&N cancers.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
