I am struggling to come to terms with my partner who has had a tumour removed from her breast. She has decided against radiotherapy, for personal reasons. I am Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this? And what your personal experience was?
Hi and welcome to the online community
I can imagine that it might be incredibly hard for you knowing that your partner has refused further treatment after having a tumour removed from her breast.
As I'm not sure from your post whether you are wanting to speak to others who have declined radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer or other people whose partners have declined treatment, I'll suggest a couple of additional groups for you to join and post in depending on which it was. The first is the breast cancer group where you'll be able to connect with others to ask about their experience of declining radiotherapy. The second is the carers group where you can discuss your worries with others who have a loved one living with cancer.
