I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but maybe someone out there can help.
My partner is due to start a month of radiotherapy on monday (he's stage 3 SC lung cancer so its vital he does the treatment. We live in the Isles of Scilly so it's impossible to travel to Truro everyday and we can't find any accommodation we can afford. If anyone knows of anyone in Cornwall (anywhere that has transport links to Truro) that has a spare room/caravan/flat anything for 2 people 17th may til 11th June please let met know. We're getting desperate!

I'm sorry to read that you're struggling to find affordable accommodation for you and your partner while he attends radiotherapy.
Have you spoken to the hospital that he is attending to ask if they can recommend anywhere? Another thought is to give the Macmillan Support Line a call on 0808 808 0000 as they may be aware of a charity that could help you. It's free to call and they're available 7 days a week between 8am and 8pm.
If you'd prefer not to call them you could post a message in the ask an information and support adviser section of the online community after clicking on the link I've created.
I hope you're able to find some suitable accommodation and that your partner's treatment goes well.
