Hi, has anyone else had problems sleeping post surgery? Only getting about two hours sleep a night. I phoned my doctor and was sent a link to online help from " sleepio " complete wast.of time. Have tried several different over the counter remedies which did not work, has anyone found something that works?
Hi Lezel
I'm fortunate that I've never had trouble sleeping but I can imagine how horrible it must be.
I can see that you're a member of the lung cancer group so I'm assuming that your recent surgery was to do with your lung cancer. You might find that if you also post this message in the lung cancer group you're more likely to connect with others who have had the same issue and who might be able to give you some hints and tips. You might also like to take a look at this information from Macmillan on insomnia.
It would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
