HI, I'm on a break from chemo, last chemo being March. I lost all my hair on the first cycle of FLOT treatment in August 2019 (then had ECX treatment). Cancer had reduced in March and from CT scan in May the cancer is stable (I have esophagus non curable cancer). My hair is growing back and I have some curls. I would like to have a bit of a change and colour my hair with a temporary colour. Due a scan in August again so will probably then restart chemo. Anyway any advice would be most welcome.
Thank you
Hi Tattoofairy
That's great that your hair is growing back and you fancy a change of colour.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you join the oesophagul cancer group and also post your question there as I'm sure the other members of that group will be happy to share similar experiences with you.
If you'd like to do this just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then copy and paste your question from here into a new post there by selecting 'start a discussion'.
When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
I hope you like your new colour.
x
