Mum ( stage 4) has some progression on tumour and over the last 6 weeks has developed a dreadful cough..... She has been prescribed antibiotics but no sign of infection. The cough is debilitating ( clear) lots of mucus. She has been told to take her co codomol...... Seeing onc end June which coincides with her completing 2 years immuno....
Any advice managing a cough?

I'm sorry to hear that your mum has developed a cough which is causing her a lot of distress.
Could I suggest that you also post this in the lung cancer group, which I can see you've joined, as you'll then connect with people who have the same type of cancer as your mum and who might have also had this problem. Hi I have breast cancer stage 4 with lungs mets.Before treatment which i started in August 2019 I was coughing with lots of phleghm.Cocodamol helped me but also she can get prescribed Codeine linctus that one helped too.With the treatment i have stopped coughing.
Is she having any treatment?
