Welcome to the chat group, a place for chatty discussions with a mixture of people, patients, carers friends and family, the bereaved, a break out place from perhaps our usual groups where you might be find wider view points and experiences than in a single cancer group. So I hope people will join in to support the posts that people put on, the more replies the merrier, and start their own posts.

Maybe you really need a distraction, want to celebrate a mile stone, are looking for a sounding board for ideas you’ve had, are needing some ideas, want to give some support to someone, or need to get some thoughts (rants) out of your head (there is an emotional issues group as well), then simply reply to a post or start a discussion. I usually view things in discussion view so I can go to the start of a post and see if there have been any with no replies, and see if I’ve any experience to offer, a few words of support, or just to let others know they’ve been heard, or to see what great replies others have done.

When someone replies, you can click on their user name to read their profile, that sometimes can give some insight to their reply. If you look at mine you will find I’m coming up to my 5th anniversary soon of my cancer diagnosis, and that I’m in a bit of a blip at the moment. The help section has a section on completing your profile and other tips for using the community. If you are new here the start of a new month is a great time to do something different and post, well it worked for me today !

take care and see you soon.
