I am carer of a chemo patient who is also my wife , I have developed a “ticklish” cough over last two days, not prolonged as per Corona virus symptoms, I do not have a temperature. Should I remove myself from my wife ? I feel to do so would have other negative effects on her.
Heya Angel,
I'm afraid the official advice would be yes, because the symptoms can vary from person to person, and it's better to be safe than sorry.
However, how dependent on you is she? Because when someone cares for someone else, there's a whole scale from just cooking meals all the way up to doing everything someone needs doing for them.
