After a journey which my partner and I most certainly didn't want, I am sad to say the journey came to an end at 4.00am on Monday morning...
I now have a mind full of things to do,so not alot of time to grieve.... However I spent a terrible 8 days, right by his side....which involved so so many emotions.
My amazing partner, was everything to me. He had a beautiful heart and soul...
I am now making sure he has the most perfect fitting end to his journey...
One he truly deserves...
We really must fight this terrible disease...
Thankyou for reading what may be my last posting... I wish you all well....
Xx
Hello , I’m sorry to hear about your partner, our paths haven’t crossed on the forum before, I expect because I’m the patient and a different cancer type, but I remember sitting with my mum and wanted to say a few kind words to you, but they have melted away from my lips and I’m just wanting to give a gentle virtual hug to you.
My practical non emotion side wants to say that if the Macmillan site has helped you so far, this does not have to be your last post, you might have already come across the links I’m putting below but I thought I’d share the links to the bereavement group and the ask an expert, as you may well want to post again to share your thoughts and get some support from others who understand.

my thoughts are with you
Take care KT
