Meanwhile Aus r thrashing Eng at Headingley

Better start doing the old rain dance..

  • About a month ago, I was thinking this team was a shoe-in for the Team of the Year at Sports Personality of the Year.

    Now I’m not so sure!

  • Ah that may mean that the England Netball team are in with a chance now then GrinningThumbsup

    Take care KT

  • Lol

Fear of the unknown is the worst thing. Once we know what we're facing, we find the strength to deal with it.
  • I take it all back!

They might as well give Ben Stokes the trophy now!

The most exciting half an hour of Test Cricket I think I have ever experienced!

  • Hi buttercup...... CricketCricket never in doubt Grin though i was watching through my fingers. Looking forward to travelling to Manchester now we have something to play for. Sports Personality of the Year ' Ben Stokes ! '

Hope you're doing ok Kissing heart

  • As someone who hails from 20 miles from Old Trafford, I  just hope  it doesn't rain - we wanna win not have another draw!

  • Eng have an uphill struggle on their hands now that Steve Smith's been the proverbial run machine n Stokes is poss injured. Good job it's only day one. Hope rain holds off...

  • After day two .......pray for rain  !  Stokes has apparently  got a shoulder niggle. Jofra ? He didn't seem happy yesterday. Your right Steve Smith 'the wasp slayer' annoyingly  is a run machine. We can only dream of England scoring 500 runs. He must have a weakness somewhere, he has such a talent why he felt the need to cheat I do not know. We travelled to Australia 2009 for the Ashes, the Glory days now a distant memory. Need another Strauss and Cookie.

Weather was a bit chilly for us Southerners Joy but we layered up. Travelling back home today.

I am trying to think positively ..... we can't lose what we never had.

    Take care x

  • Well, it's still wet up in Manchester -  match delayed by a wet outfield. Who knew I'd b glad if the day got rained off lol?;

  • Buttercup01 am relying on you to keep doing the rain dance preferably to cover 72 hours.

Just got back home to see we're now two down. Having a rest watching from the sofa and then going to Sussex V Worcester The Blast quarter finals tonight. It is a bit damp here in Sussex but looks dry later Fingers crossed

    Don't let me down Grin
