Eyebrows and eyelashes gone for a burton.

Hi all, my eyebrows and eyelashes have finally given up the ghost and I look very strange without them.

I bought a load of different types of false eyelashes (strips, clusters individuals) but none of the glues seem to last more than a few hours. It’s doesn’t help that hay fever season has started so my eyes are streaming.

Does anyone have any tried and tested tips? Most of the long lasting glues seem to be designed to attach to the natural lashes rather than the skin. Any secret ideas out there I don’t know about?

  • Hi

I am not a member of this forum as sadly I am somewhat the wrong side of 50, but I didn’t want your post to go unanswered. You might get more responses on the main Breast cancer forum  as it is somewhat busier.

I have experienced chemo twice, losing all my hair each time. I didn’t try to use false lashes for the reasons you mentioned and just used eyeliner to attempt to frame my eyes. I tried to wear sunglasses when I was out too, not so much to hide the fact that I didn’t have lashes, but to shield my eyes a bit.
