Hi I am new to the group.
I am 47 years young
I was diagnosed with grade 2 breast in November and had my 3rd round of EC Chemotherapy on Friday. I feel lucky that I got through the first two rounds with very little side effects and have been managing to still go to work. But since having the third round my whole body hurts. I've been to the hospital today and they dont think I've got any infection. But OMG I'm in agony. I know the treatment affects everyone differently but to go from non/mild side effects to this amount of pain is unreal. I'm now worried because I've still got 5 rounds to go and in my last four rounds I'm going to be having Docetaxel which I have been told can be brutal. I am just wondering has anyone else experienced this. Also any tips on dealing with the pain. I also have a skin tunnelled central line fitted. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Hi Dreamthief
I'll take this into account. Thanks so much again for your advice.

Hi Dreamthief
Thank you so much for your advice on pain relief. I had my 4th round of chemo last friday. The mixture of paracetamol and Ibuprofen has worked. Dont get me wrong theres still some mild pain and discomfort but no where near as bad as round 3 and I'm totally managing it now. Thanks again. Your advice has helped so much. I just wasnt getting helpful advice from oncology. Your a star x
Thank you again
