Hi all

ive been diagnosed with breast cancer (invasive adenocarcinoma in the right breast, grade 2). It doesn’t seem to have spread to the lymph nodes but my consultant won’t know for certain until she removes a couple during surgery.

The size is 9.5cm and with no margin for preserving the breast the options I have is either a mastectomy or reconstructive surgery.

I wanted to hear from anyone who has had either of these surgeries and how life has been since.

I’m torn between the two options as reconstruction will delay any further treatment for me.

could really use some advise
