Morning CancerPartDeux,
My name is Amy and I am one of the Cancer Information Nurse Specialists on the Macmillan Support Line. Welcome to the online community and thanks for posting your question.
Sorry to hear you are having almost monthly issues with getting your Everolimus 5mg tablets. It can be incredibly frustrating when the same thing keeps happening.
There doesn’t appear to be a national shortage.
It would be helpful to speak to the pharmacy directly. Sometimes they change supplier, and it can cause initial delays. Sometimes they may have a larger than normal demand for a particular drug or may have an order supply when requested policy. They should be able to advise on what is causing these delays and if there is a work-around to try and prevent this moving forward.
I hope this helps. Please don’t hesitate to reach back out to us if you have any further questions.
Best wishes,
Amy C, Cancer Information Nurse Specialist
