  • Hi angusandgus8yvn,

Welcome to our online community and thank you for reaching out to us. I’m Alison, one of the cancer information nurses on the support line here at Macmillan.

Sorry to hear you have been going through a difficult time. It’s good to hear your chemotherapy has been so successful and you’re now having immunotherapy alone.

Without knowing the specific immunotherapy you’re having, it’s difficult to know if these symptoms could be side effects from the treatment. However, headaches, dizziness and pain around the tumour sites can be attributed to some immunotherapy treatments. Liver changes can be a common side effect with immunotherapy too. We’d always encourage you to contact your treatment team and call the emergency treatment line number with any new worse or change in a symptom today so they can clinically assess you. If you can’t get in touch with them or your symptoms worsen, please do not hesitate and call NHS 111 or 999.

If you would like to talk this through some more with one of our nurses, please don't hesitate to get back in touch with us. We would be more than happy to discuss it and answer any other questions or concerns you may have. You can call our support line, email or use our online forums.

    Best wishes
