So I have just had a follow up after having a testical removed. And was shocked at what the DR mentioned.
so it all started when I noticed my ball was bigger and hard. So I went see my GP. Who sent me for an ultrasound. Then after that I had an appointment with a urologist. Who recommended to remove my testical. With out accessing my scan results. Why happend when I went is he could not access my ultrasound results during the appointment. But after checking my testical he recommended due to my age to remove the testical. And mentioned they chances of cancer are 1% only. So in agreed. I had it removed then today saw a different urologist. And I knew something was wrong when I walked in to see him. He asked me was I aware of what’s happening and I told him the last DR had told me I may have cancer but it’s unlikely and they would remove it and test it for cancer but not to worry much. To my suprise he said I had cancer in my testical they had removed and he said he could see this on the original scan that the other one could not access. I was shocked this had happened. But it must say the new one was better. And the cancer nurse great. Now I am worried as I had cancer and it may have spread so the will send me for more tests and will see a cancer specialist in the cancer unit which as come a a bit of a shock.
what is the likelihood of the cancer spreading?
And how long after the CT scan will I see someone as I am now feeling anxious about I may need more treatment
thanks
