Good afternoon.

I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2009, had a stem cell transplant and remission.

I then relapsed in 2022 and had a second SCT in 2024 - end of July that year. Then have been in remission again.

I had a telephone message from my cosultant on Friday last week to tell me that Paraprotein numers have increased slightly from my last blood test. I have a telephone appointment booked for 28th Oct, but am looking for some advice.

I am feeling fit and well with no symptoms.

My mental health has deteriorated though due to this and other factors in my life.

I think I need to speak to someone.

I am 67 years old Male.

We would be delighted to hear from you, and our contact details are below.

In addition, you may also find it beneficial to chat with our friends at Myeloma UK

In the meantime, I am popping a link here to our information on the emotional impact of cancer and the ways that Macmillan (and others) can support you.
