Since my lymphnode biopsies last Thursday my neck has been hurting on the same side I wondered if there was a connection at all.

Hi Babe257fda,
Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the online community. I hope you are finding it helpful. My name is Fiona and I’m one of the Macmillan cancer information nurses.
You mention that you had a lymph node biopsy last Thursday and that you are experiencing pain in your neck on the same side. Pain can be a side effect of a biopsy. This should settle within 1 or 2 days.
As we do not have access to your medical records it would be good to speak to your GP or hospital team about this ongoing pain. They are best placed to examine you and give you medical advice.
Waiting for results can be an anxious time. You are always welcome to call and speak to one of our nurses on the Support Line.
I hope this information helps. Please feel free to get back in touch if you want more information or support.
Best wishes,
Fiona P,
Cancer Information Nurse Specialist
