  • Hi Justina564df4,

Thank you for contacting us at what sounds like a difficult time for you. I’m Lorna one of the Cancer Information Nurse specialists on the support line.

I am sorry to hear that you have been experiencing pain following your recent sonogram.

Unfortunately, as we are UK registered nurses, and your query is not about cancer care in the UK, we are unable to offer any information or support regarding your care in Nevada. It may be that there is a cancer support organisation which provides this service where you are based. You can find this information here.

You can access general information about breast cancer in the UK on our website. The American Cancer Society or your local American Cancer Society in Nevada can give you information and support in your local area, and breastcancer.org website has information about breast cancer care in the USA too.

It's important that if you are experiencing any pain or need any further information about your prognosis you should speak to your healthcare team, they can give you the guidance and support you need as soon as possible and answer any questions you might have.

I hope this is helpful and you manage to get advice from your team soon.

    Best wishes

    Lorna (Cancer Information Nurse Specialist)
