I've been cancer clear for getting on for 2years. I recently made a scan but am having to wait approx 6weeks for the results.
Why does it take so long? The waiting shouldn't take this amount of time....this is a super anxious time for me (us) ...you must know this so why do you make us wait so long.

It’s good to hear that you have been cancer clear for 2 years.
It’s understandable that you are frustrated with the wait for scan results and that it’s a very anxious time for you.
Unfortunately, our support line is not directly involved with NHS services but we do like people to get involved in campaigning for changes to help improve the lives of people living with or affected by cancer.
You may also wish to contact the hospital PALS or healthwatch to raise your concerns.
