I’m waiting for Pet scan results next week following an MRI but wonder if fatigue and feeling shivery cold for much of the time is relevant alongside swollen lymph node and return of bowel issues? I suppose I’m preparing myself for bad news while waiting for it?

There are several reasons why you could be getting the symptoms you have. It is important to get a medical review via your GP, as you may have an infection or other condition that needs treating whilst you are waiting for test results. You can call 111 if your GP doesn’t have capacity to see you.
It is normal to feel anxious if you are worried about recurrence of cancer. It may help you to have a look at the self-help techniques on the NHS website Every Mind Matters and check out these relaxation techniques, to help you if you get overwhelmed in the moment.
