I sent a message but unsure if it went thru.
iam currently on holiday and have realised I do not have enough Aberaterone to keep me going g to end of my holiday.
i take two tablets every morning. I had prostate cancer and received Brachytherapy and radiotherapy.
would I be able to take 1 tablet every day or 2 every 2nd day till I go home. As I would just about have enough to do me if cutting down doseage.

We appreciate your concern about your lack of Abiraterone. We would like you to contact your cancer doctors and ask them if it is possible to reduce your dose. They should have an email address and be able to reply this way. It is difficult for us to give you the go-ahead to reduce your dose. This is because we are not part of your team and do not have access to your medical notes.
Having a little bit more information would help us understand a little bit more about your circumstances, and you are very welcome to use webchat to talk to our nurses.
If you are on holiday in this country you can contact 111 and see if they could prescribe the drug and you could collect from a local pharmacy. There is also an emergency 111 prescription service. If the drug is not on your repeat prescription service you can get help from 111 online.
If you are abroad, you can check with your travel insurance who may be able to help in obtaining your medication. If there is a local embassy or consulate you can also contact them.
