Hi Bev2022
My name is Sarah one of the Cancer information Nurses.
Thanks for getting in touch with our online community. I can see you have joined some of our forums; I hope you are finding it a supportive place.
There are varying opinions about colouring hair. Both Macmillan and Cancer hair care has some good information about safe ways to dye your hair. Both recommend sensitivity tests and ensuring your scalp and hair are in a good condition first.
Using natural hair dyes is gentler on your hair so most hair specialists think it is safe to use them.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to get back in touch.
Best wishes,
Sarah
