Why do several people say that fenbendazole cures cancer, but this treatment is not always official?
Dear BobyE,
Thank you for reaching out for information about fenbendazole, which is a medication used in veterinary medicine to treat animal gastrointestinal parasites.
The use of fenbendazole for cancer is still experimental and unproven, more studies are needed to determine its safety for humans.
Sadly, social media and the internet is full of claims about alternative treatments that can treat or cure cancer.
For this reason, it is so important that people use websites that are reputable, and research based such as ours, Cancer Research UK or NICE to inform them of their treatment opinions. And also seek the advice and expertise of their medical and nursing teams if they have any questions.
I hope this information has been useful, please contact us whenever we can help.
Take care.
Liz
