  • Dear Lindy,

Thank you for contacting Macmillan. My name is Denise, I am one of the Macmillan Cancer Information Nurses.

I am sorry to read you are experiencing some difficulties after your right lobectomy. As we do not have access to NHS records, we are unable to assess over this platform.

I would strongly suggest seeking medical assessment as soon as possible. As you have had surgery just recently, and your symptoms are worsening the risks of complications and side effects could be a medical emergency. Blood clots and infections are possible complications and need to be treated immediately.

Please call 111 for assessment or if your symptoms are getting worse call 999. If there is someone who can take you safely to the nearest accident and emergency, please ask them to take you in.

I hope you find this information useful and please do get back in touch with us if you have more questions.

    Best wishes,

    Denise
