Iv got precancerous cells in the margins 0.3mm post lumpectomy and mammoplasty. I was initially told i need 2nd surgery /shave to remove this. A week later they are saying i can have radiotherapy boost instead or both. I’m so overwhelmed and unsure of the choice
I will be 5 weeks post initial surgery..

Understandably you are feeling overwhelmed about which treatment you should now have. Treatment decisions for breast cancer surgery can be difficult to make. What is important is that you have all of the information required to make the best decision for you. Breast Cancer Now have a comprehensive page on surgery here.
Unfortunately, on the Macmillan Support Line we do not have access to any medical records.
We would suggest that you book an appointment to speak with your Breast Care Nurse, or Consultant, who can talk with you about your treatment plan, so that you are then able to make an informed choice.
