Hi Muste
Thanks for getting in touch. My name is Fiona and I’m one of the Macmillan cancer information nurses.
We’re glad to hear that you have had good news from the PET scan.
However, we are concerned about the loss of power in your legs. It’s important that any new, changing or worsening symptoms are reported promptly to your treatment team.
One of the concerns when someone mentions loss of power in their legs is the possibility of spinal cord compression. This must be treated urgently.
As we do not have access to your medical notes, we would recommend calling 111 or 999 immediately to discuss this with them and get medical advice.
I hope this information helps. Please feel free to get back in touch if you want more information or support.
Best wishes,
Fiona P,
Cancer Information Nurse Specialist
