Hi TanyaG
Thanks for getting in touch.
My name is Paula and I am one of the Cancer Information Nurse Specialists on the Macmillan Support Line.
It’s good to hear you’ve finished your chemotherapy. I hope you’re feeling well and had minimal problems during your treatment.
Sorry for the late response to your post I hope this email gets to you in time prior to seeing the consultant today.
It’s understandable to have questions after finishing treatment, having a cancer diagnosis can bring a lot of uncertainties.
It may be helpful to write down your questions before seeing the consultant, as this sometimes helps if there is too much information to remember.
It’s important to let your team know how you’re feeling, if you’re having any lasting side effects and how to manage them. Remember no question is stupid, your team are there to support you throughout your cancer journey.
You may find this link helpful to look at. Our booklet might also help too.
I hope you find this information helps. Please feel free to get back in touch if need any further information or support.
