Hello Zip94
Welcome to the online community.
My Name is Gina and I am one of the Cancer Information Nurse Specialists on the Macmillan support line.
I’m sorry to hear that you have noticed changes in your vaginal wall. Skin changes in and around the vagina, can be a sign of vaginal cancer, but they can also be signs of lots of other things too. Vaginal cancer is rare. What is important is that you have noticed these changes and have seen your GP about it, and they have referred you to the hospital for assessment.
Best wishes
Gina, Cancer Information Nurse Specialist
