Hi Television
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Lynsay, and I am one of the information nurses with Macmillan Cancer support. Welcome to the online community, I hope you find this to be a helpful and supportive space.
I have linked our information about Essential Thrombocythaemia (ET) here. The main advice relating to diet after being diagnosed with ET is to try and follow a healthy diet. I haven’t seen any information that relates to having to completely avoid particular foods though. The advice would be more about moderation and not eating a lot of high sugar and high fat foods.
MPN voice is a charity that focuses on rare blood cancers like ET and have really good advice and resources, this includes information about diet and lifestyle, I have linked this here.
There is a spring covid19 booster programme, the national booking system opens on the 5th of April and people who are eligible can book an appointment. I have attached the information about how to do this here.
I hope this is helpful, please feel free to get back in touch if there is anything else we can help with.
Best Wishes
Lynsay
