should I be worried about severe chest pain?
Hi Rainbow82
Thanks for getting in touch with us and welcome to the online community. My name’s Simon and I’m one of the Cancer Information Nurses on the Macmillan Support Line.
Yes, you should be concerned about severe chest pain. If you or anyone you know are experiencing sudden chest pain, you should contact 999 for immediate medical assessment and assistance. This is because it could indicate a heart attack.
It is important that you seek medical attention as a matter of urgency as this could potentially be an emergency situation.
I hope this information is of some help.
Best wishes
