  • Hi JordonMancUK

My name is Sarah one of the Cancer Information Nurses. I can see you have joined a couple of our online community groups and hoping that you are finding them supportive.

It is natural to worry about symptoms you are experiencing and as you are aware sometimes these symptoms can be a red flag for cancer.

Nights sweats can happen for many reasons such as when you’re taking insulin as low blood sugars (hypoglycaemia) can cause sweating. Your GP or diabetes nurse should be able to talk this through with you.

You may find this information helpful about night sweats in men.

It sounds like you consultant is monitoring your symptoms and if there are any changes then it would be best to get back in touch with your team to let them know.

I hope things settle down for you and if we can help with anything else don’t hesitate to get back in touch.

    Best Wishes

    Sarah
