Hi WMK
Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the online community.
My name is Lindsey and I am one of the Cancer Information Nurse Specialists on the Macmillan Support Line
I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems with pain and pins and needles. Herceptin can cause pain in different parts of your body. Most commonly from joints and muscles. It can also cause burning and tingling sensation in hands or feet.
But the problems you describe could be due to other reasons including if there is something affecting the nerves in your back. We would recommend that you seek medical advice without delay so that you can get a diagnosis and the appropriate help can be sorted out for you. To get medical advice you could contact your specialist nurse, doctor or the 111 service.
Kind Regards,
Lindsey,
Cancer Information Nurse Specialist
