Hi everyone.

i have lung mets that are now advanced and large and I have increased breathlessness when walking and climbing stairs

i have managed to access portable oxygen by getting a referral to the respiratory nurse at my hospital by my oncologist.

thay assessed my sats when walking and have issued a prescription and I will get the machine on Tuesday.

It makes such a difference.

i walk my dog every day and I am going on holiday to Bude  next week and will now be confident to walk on the beach with the dog

I hope this info helps anyone in a similar position and if you would like more info please message me

lots of love xxx

I’m sorry to hear that your lung metastases are getting bigger but really pleased you have managed to get portable oxygen. It sounds as though this has improved your quality of life no end.

I’m glad you are able to walk your dog again and really hope you have a fantastic time together in Bude.

    Best wishes
