Had my first cycle of chemo Monday and I hate this nausea feeling? Im taking the meds described but still feel queasy?
Is there anything else I could do to help myself please?

Thank you for getting in touch.
I’m sorry to hear that you are struggling with nausea. It can be frustrating when the medication that you are taking isn’t helping.
If you have any new worsening or changing symptoms, it’s important that your treatment team are aware. They are best placed to support you. If you have been given a 24 hours chemotherapy helpline number, you can access to get reviewed urgently.
You can contact your GP or the 111 service who can review your medication and prescribe another anti emetic that should be able to help you.
Some people find eating ginger biscuits or drinking ginger ale can be helpful. You can find more information on how to manage nausea and vomiting our website.
